THE SEASON BEGINS - LAKE ALFRED LITTLE
LEAGUE
Lake
Alfred sported it's 2010 Jamboree this past weekend with
great anticipation. Little League President Jon O'Neill
opened the ceremonies at 10:15am with the introduction of
the Board and then the singing of the National Anthem by
Jane Miller and the Benediction (Mr. O'Neill).
The first pitch of the season was delivered by Vice Mayor
Albertus Maultsby
to catcher Jeff Tillman (Park & Recreation) and followed by
the Introductions of the Coaches and Players. Lake Alfred
has 117 kids, 11 Teams from age 4 to 15. We are proud to
have 14 sponsors and 32 coaches and volunteers.
The day hosted exhibition games for Mint-T, T-Ball, Coach
Pitch, Minors and a Coach/ Parents game against the
Majors. The Juniors team traveled to Haines City for the
annual Home Run tournament at the Haines City Jamboree.
